Overview
A busy, patient centered chiropractic office is seeking a dependable and caring Back technician/Chiropractic Tech to assist with the delivery of non- invasive therapies, including spinal decompression and e stim. This role supports the chiropractor in providing holistic, drug free pain relief and spinal care to patients experiencing chronic back, neck, and nerve related conditions.
The ideal candidate will have a warm bedside manner, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in chiropractic wellness. Experience in a chiropractic or physical medicine environment is highly preferred.
Duties
*Prepare patients for spinal decompression therapy, position them correctly on the table and operate decompression systems as directed by the chiropractor.
*Set up and apply e stim therapy including electroanalgesia. based on the doctor's treatment plan.
*Monitor patients throughout therapy sessions, ensuring comfort and safety at all time.
* Educate patients about the therapies being performed, reinforcing chiropractic and wellness principles.
* Accurately record treatment parameters and patient responses in EHR.
* Maintain a clean and organized therapy area; ensure all equipment is sanitized and in proper working condition.
* Assist with patient flow, including escorting patients to treatment rooms, scheduling, and light front desk duties as needed.
*Support the chiropractor with other passive and active therapies, excises, or modalities as trained.
Qualifications:
Required:
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Training or certification in medical assisting, physical therapy aide, or chiropractic assistant role.
* Basic knowledge if spinal anatomy and common chiropractic modalities
Preferred:
* Prior experience in a chiropractic or wellness office.
*Hands on experience with decompression tables and E stim equipment
*Familiarity with chiropractic EHR systems
* Bilingual ( English/Spanish)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
