Location: Carrington, ND
Duration: 6-Week Contract
Shift: Variable Night Shift
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 36/48-Hour Rotation
Compensation:
- Local Pay: $36/hour (based on experience)
- Traveler Pay: $43/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering resident-centered care, promoting safety and well-being, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support optimal resident outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.
- Monitor, assess, and document residents’ health status, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
- Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely nursing documentation.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and updating resident care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate residents and family members regarding treatments, medications, and healthcare needs.
- Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing resident care needs.
- Attend staff meetings, care conferences, and ongoing educational programs as required.
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program required.
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the State of North Dakota required.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred.
- Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, or Geriatric Care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical nursing and medication administration skills.
- Excellent assessment and observational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Effective organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt in a fast-paced care environment.
- Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing environment.
- Variable night shift schedule with rotating 36/48-hour workweeks.
