Job Description
A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to provide therapeutic care and assistance to patients, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery processes. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and assist in improving patients' daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in therapeutic activities and exercises as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Support patients in performing daily living activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records as required.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid state license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is preferred.
