Lakeview Village offers a variety of opportunities for our employees. We have been expanding and refining our range of healthcare services for decades in response to the changing needs of our residents and the community at large. The healthcare our residents enjoy is part of a valuable program called Lakeview LifeCare. Lakeview Village offers different levels of living for their residents: Assisted Living, Long Term Skilled Nursing, Sub Acute Rehabilitation, and Home Health care.
Our Core Values are integrity, growth, respect, optimism and community, and we look for individuals who share these values. Our team of 600 employees is dedicated to caring for the residents, clients and children we serve.
Company History
Lakeview Village has been a locally owned, nonprofit leader for 50 years. We were started by five ministers, and we continue to serve people of all faiths. We are home to 750 satisfied residents from around the area and around the country, and we are the workplace of 600 caring employees. Under the leadership of an experienced Executive Team and a local Board of Directors, we are a financially stable organization with a commitment to transparency. As a nonprofit organization, only our residents benefit, not outside shareholders.
The first building (now called Heritage Place) consisted of 201 apartment homes and a nursing care center. Lakeview Village quickly became the benchmark for Continuing Care Retirement Communities by offering residents innovative new concepts such as LifeCare and Whole-Person Wellness. Campus development steadily continued with the addition of three apartment buildings, garden cottages, villas, and our skilled nursing care facility. Construction of Eastside Terrace, our Community Wellness Center, was completed in 2010. It houses a large, indoor swimming pool, fitness center featuring state-of-the art equipment, bistro, short-term rehabilitation services, assisted living, and more. One of our founders, the Reverend U.S. Grant, said it best: “Our overriding consideration is to create an environment of security and fullness of life for our elders.” We have worked to provide a safe, stimulating, and attractive living environment for adults age 62 and better ever since.
