Company History

South Cove Manor, based in Boston's Chinatown since1985, moved its operation to a $33.7 million newly constructed building in Quincy Point in June, 2014. The move to Quincy was partly fueled by simple demographics: The ranks of Quincy's Asian residents have grown from 13,546 to 22,174 between 2000 and 2010, according to US. Census data and the lack of space to grow in Chinatown. Moving to Quincy the center grew from 100 to 141 beds and nearly tripled its space form 30,000 to 87,000 square feet. We have been able to blend American, Eastern, and Western culture to provide a more modern approach to caring for aging parents yet still maintaining and celebrating the traditions of all cultures.
