The more serious bit

We need a physiotherapist for a full-time position to start as soon as possible.
We are an innovative practice, always looking for new ideas and people willing to be exposed to new ways of thinking and new challenges.
We are seeking someone who is committed and reliable, who thrives on a diverse range of patients and injuries, who can support our growth and provide outstanding care to our awesome patients. Our focus is on hydrotherapy, MSK, NDIS and the management of chronic conditions, with growth areas in neurological physio, paediatric physio and women’s health, cancer rehabilitation (physio and EP). We have our own clinical hydrotherapy pool right next to our clinic - the only private clinical pool on the southside of Brisbane. Experience in any of these areas would be an adavantage.
You will like dealing with complex cases, and be used to dealing with patients holistically considering psychosocial factors, diversity, inclusion, and managing patient expectations.
You will be ready to take on extra responsibilities in this role. Your innovative ideas and skill-set will be supported and encouraged.
The hours and employment terms will be negotiated with the successful applicant (especially negotiable if you are an awesome cooker or even purchaser of cakes - cupcakes will do...please bring evidence to your interview.)
Added bonus - if you tell our manager that you have 3 birthdays a year, she may believe you and organise 3 cake days!
Requirements
Along with your desire to heal and your commitment to taking a hands-on, integrated approach to make a difference to the well-being of our patients, and your commitment to working in a multi-disciplinary practice, you possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- A great can-do attitude
- Commitment to working in an interdisciplinary team
- A sense of humour but a willingness to knuckle down and complete required tasks (yes - we are talking about notes and letters).
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Experience in MSK private practice and clinical hydrotherapy would be preferred. If you are interested in furthering your knowledge of neurological rehabilitation that is also wonderful. This position would also be suitable to someone with an interest/experience in Women's Health or lymphoedema management.

- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Current, relevant professional insurance
THE CONDITIONS
We give you reasonable time each day to complete notes. We pay wages, not commissions so you can have certainty in your income, paid sick leave and annual leave. We have regular staff meetings and outings. The wellbeing of our team is as important as our patients. We include a PD allowance. Wages are negotiable based on your experience.
