Hours of Work
Hours of work are typically day shifts, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, including participation in an on-call rotation. Ability to work flexed schedule including evenings and weekends to support staff and on-call rotation
Rate of Pay: $37.31hour - $43.99 /hour (Starting salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions)

How You Will Make an Impact
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, the RPN Supervisor advances a culture of clinical excellence in service and experience and provides clinical leadership, nursing expertise & judgement within the Assisted Living Program, ensuring high-quality, evidence informed person-centered care.
Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and scheduling of PSW services to meet evolving client needs
Onboard and orient new clients and families to the program
Participate in care planning, case conferences, and client plan reviews
Address client and family inquiries, concerns, and questions with professionalism and respect
Onboard, mentor, and supervise staff, students, and volunteers through training, competency development, and performance management
Ensure compliance with College of Nurses of Ontario standards, organizational policies, and advance quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and internal/external partners to coordinate client care
Model culturally competent practice and uphold Good Shepherd's values of Responsibility, Availability, Hospitality, Adaptability, Quality, and Dignity
Support Good Shepherd's commitment to Harm Reduction and reducing barriers for marginalized community members
Observe all Good Shepherd health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations to minimize risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd

Requirements
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience supporting individuals with chronic, physical, mental health, or cognitive care needs
Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including scheduling, performance, and resource management
Experience in community-based, home care, or similar healthcare settings
Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Current CPR certification
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation
