Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. This is a full-time day shift opportunity with 36 guaranteed hours per week and overtime available. Contract extensions may be offered based on performance.
Schedule
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Overtime Available
- Initial 13-week contract
- Extension opportunities based on performance
- Travelers must be flexible and available to work opposite shifts if required for facility needs
Facility Overview
- Licensed for 80 beds (currently operating 74 beds when full)
- Skilled Nursing Census: 10–12 patients
- Memory Care: 27-bed secured unit
- Long-Term Care Units:
- 1st Floor: 17 beds
- 2nd Floor: 30 beds
- 3rd Floor: 27 beds
Nurse Staffing
Day Shift
- 3 Nurses
- 2 Medication Aides
Evening Shift
- 3 Nurses
- 2 Medication Aides
Night Shift
- 2 Nurses
- 2 Medication Aides/Med Techs
Documentation
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): MyUnity (NetSmart)
Professional Development
- Continuing Education (CEU) opportunities available (participation is optional)
- Monthly nursing staff meetings with an expected 80% attendance
ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to long-term care, skilled nursing, and memory care residentsPerform assessments and administer medications and treatmentsMonitor resident condition and communicate changes to providers and interdisciplinary team membersComplete timely and accurate documentation in MyUnity (NetSmart)Collaborate with nursing staff, medication aides, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality resident careFloat to other units or shifts as needed based on staffing requirements
